As a marriage and family therapist, I understand the many roles we play as individuals and how they are all interconnected. Stress, trauma, and relationship discord, effects how we show up and interact. Learning to cope and navigate interactions differently is essential to improving these relationships. I want to assist you to make these key relationships in your life healthy and happy. Remember that your most important relationship is with you.

As a family therapist for the past 15 years, I have learned how to engage couples, families and individuals in therapy and work towards solutions. I use a variety of techniques and interventions to suit your needs. I know that the best work is done when I listen to you and your needs. I work with teens 16 years + and adults. My fee is $165 for the intake assessment and $125 for general sessions.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies at the University of Nevada, Reno and my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Studies at Arizona State University. The marriage and family degree is a specialty with specific training in family systems. I am also Level One certified in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.

Marriage and Family Therapist – Intern

Relationships matter. When your marriage feels strained, your teenager is struggling, or extended family dynamics are wearing you down, everything else in life feels heavier. You may also be carrying internal stress, anxiety, or low mood, and want a safe and grounded place to sort through what is going on inside and around you, whether individually or within your relationships.

I am currently attending Abilene Christian University, working on my master’s degree in marriage and family studies. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Bringham Young University-Idaho in Professional Studies. Before beginning my master’s program, I was a life coach and earned my certificate from The Life Coach School. I am also a fitness and yoga instructor, I understand the importance of the body, mind, and spirit connection.

I work under licensed supervision, so you receive attentive care supported by seasoned clinical guidance. We will focus on helping your relationships feel healthier and more connected, with communication that works in real life. I work with adolescents 12 years + and adults. My rate is lower, which makes it more cost effective, $75 for the intake assessment and $50 for general sessions. I would love the opportunity to work with you.
